Handwoven Bessarabian rug from the region west of the Black Sea (modern Moldova). This rug is a rare find due to conflict in the region.Features vibrant colors and a flat weave similar to Turkish kilims. Small room size, used mostly on one side with muted colors; the opposite side displays striking black, red, green, gold, and yellow.Mid-20th century. Recommended rug pad.
